Our in-house cooks provide a healthy morning and afternoon snack, and a hot nutritious lunch. Our meals are prepared from scratch and we bake our own bread on our premises to promote healthy foods with no preservatives. We observe the needs of our children with food allergies/food restrictions and we promote a nut-free environment. Menu plans rotate on a 4-week schedule and our meals meets the nutritional requirements as set out by the Canada Food Guide.
For predictability with our families, we serve a vegetarian lunch each Monday and fish on Wednesdays. If your child is enrolled in our Infant Program and is not able to eat the food from our menus (has not tried the food item at home yet to ensure there is no reaction, or is too young), then food must be provided by the parent along with a feeding schedule.
